Sunrise Landscape

I painted this after scouring through numerous American Art Review magazines. I am struck by the incredible number of talented artists in this world. I decided that instead of just looking at how other artists are successful, I would aim to create something myself that would be worthy of the publication. I wouldn’t dare say that this hits the mark; it simply is what I came up with in response to the personal challenge. My hope was to capture the intensity of this sunrise and the landscape through detail, color, and composition.
